Description
Bratwurst Bros Oldenburger Kochwurst, a wood-smoked sausage made in small batches in Uruti, Taranaki. Supplied in a 500g pack.
This traditional Northern Germany sausage is a typical winter sausage. They are Manuka-smoked and air-dried. It is great in stews, with cooked green kale, or just sliced cold on fresh bread with mustard.
Made from NZ pork, they are vacuum-sealed in packs of 500g.
Enjoy them straight out of the fridge, or simmer in hot salt water, or sliced in a hearty vegetable stew.

Delicious both as a cold snack with a beer or as I also tried, in a gumbo. Full of flavour, nice and meaty. Just don’t fry them like I did at first. That’s not what these are for.
